*Under the CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) legislation, all consumer products primarily intended for children twelve years of age or younger must to receive a PASSING test report annually from an accredited independent testing laboratory whose accreditations have been accepted by the CPSC. Every manufacturer, importer, or private labeler of children's products must issue an annual certificate confirming that its products meet all applicable CPSIA requirements and must make this certificate available to its retailers.
